Are your dahlias and geraniums annuals or perennials? They are annuals here.

I regard them as something between the two - mild winters and they survive until next year, hard winters and they don't! A couple of geraniums have overwintered but the dahlias are new this year.

I've taken a few pictures, I'll post them sometime in the next couple of days.
